Congratulations to Purac for signing the contract of Luoqi Restaurant Waste Treatment Plant – Household Waste Dry Anaerobic Treatment Project

In February 2020, Purac Environmental System (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Sanitation Group signed the contract of the Luoqi Restaurant Waste Treatment Plant –Household Waste Dry Anaerobic Digestion Project, with a design capacity of household waste 100 tons / day. The project adopts DRANCO process from OWS, and it is the first reference of Purac in the domestic dry anaerobic industry and the first landing project of DRANCO^® process in China.

The project adopts DRANCO^® vertical anaerobic tank, with daily biogas production about 8000m3/d. Purac is a partner of OWS in China. DRANCO^® dry anaerobic process has 25 years of experience, its unique stir-free vertical fermentation system has many applications in the world, currently in Europe and Asia there are more than 30 classic cases, suitable for household waste, garden waste, straw livestock and poultry manure, industrial solid waste, municipal waste organic components and other different organic waste.

And at the same time the range of feed concentration is wide, the pretreatment requirements for incoming materials are low. The organic matter is degraded in the tank to produce biogas.

Purac and OWS from Belgium will carry out in-depth cooperation on this project, fully consider the characteristics of domestic waste, optimize and upgrade DRANCO^® process to realize the synergistic dry anaerobic treatment of restaurant waste and household waste.

The completion of the project will become another demonstration project in the field of dry anaerobic treatment field in China.
