Purac signing a cement kiln co-disposal household waste project

In June 2020, the anaerobic and wastewater treatment engineering of Lishui Tianshan Cement Co., Ltd. cement kiln co-disposal 500t/d household waste demonstration project entered into construction stage, Purac signed the contract with Nanjing Wonders to jointly provide EPC services for the project.

The main process route of the demonstration project is to separate municipal solid waste (raw mixed waste) into RDF, ferrous metal and household waste (wet waste) through fine sorting technology, and the organic slurry made from household waste enters into the ANAMET system provided by Purac for anaerobic digestion and biogas resource utilization.

The project is a bold innovation and practice in the cement kiln co-disposal of household waste industry, which has extremely important demonstration significance, and will provide a new direction and engineering experience for the large-scale treatment of wet waste after domestic waste classification.

The demonstration project adopts the advanced household waste pretreatment technology of Sinoma International Environmental Engineering (Beijing) Co., Ltd., and is invested, constructed and operated by Lishui Tianshan Cement Co., Ltd., ,can process about 165,000 tons of household waste in Nanjing Lishui District and surrounding areas every year.

In order to further improve the "harmlessness, reduction and recycling" of waste treatment, and at the same time relieve the worries of garbage classification, ANAMET anaerobic technology is used to treat household waste, and the biogas produced is used for heat and power generation.
