Purac signing the anaerobic system procurement contract of Shanghai Jiading District wet waste resource treatment project

In September 2019, Purac Environmental System (Beijing) Co., Ltd. signed the contract of Jiading District wet waste resourceful treatment project anaerobic system and residue dehydration system with Shanghai Environmental Sanitation Engineering Design Institute Co., Ltd.

The project is located in the north of Jiading District Waste Incineration Plant, invested by Shanghai Environment Group Co., Ltd., with a total treatment capacity of 500t/d of wet waste, including 300t/d of restaurant waste and 200t/d of household waste. Purac is responsible for the design, supply, installation, commissioning and test run of anaerobic system and digestate dewatering system.

The anaerobic digestion and residue dehydration system of Jiading District Wet Waste Resource Treatment Project mainly treats the organic slurry after pretreatment of restaurant waste, household waste and waste edible oil, the slurry first enters the homogenization system, and then into the anaerobic digestion tank, the project sets up three sets of anaerobic tank, and the biogas produced is used for power generation.

The solid content of the residue after dewatering is 30%, the waste water is sent to the sewage treatment system, the residue mud cake is sent outward for incineration, and the odor generated in the treatment process is collected and then entered into the odor treatment system of the plant.
