Henriksdal WWTP Sludge treatment project, Sweden
Henriksdal waste water treatment plant is
the largest sewage treatment plant in Sweden, the largest blasting rock sewage
treatment plant in Europe, and one of the most modern sewage treatment plants
in the world, handling approximately 250,000 cubic meters of sewage per day.
The sludge from sewage treatment is anaerobically digested, and the biogas
produced is upgraded into natural gas for vehicles, which is supplied to
Stockholm buses.
This project adopts the engineering
contracting mode, Purac is responsible for the engineering design and equipment
supply of all 7 digestion tanks.
