Anaerobic Project for Kitchen Waste in Wuhu
Project Overview:
Raw materials and capacity: 400 t/d of Kitchen waste
Biogas production: 11,600 m3/d
Biogas usage: Biogas power generation
Purac scope: Anaerobic system
The Wuhu Kitchen Waste Disposal Franchise BOO project is invested and constructed by Wuhu Conch Investment Co., Ltd. This is the first project successfully cooperated by Purac and Conch Group. The project mainly treats 400 t/d of household kitchen waste, various agricultural product markets and other kitchen waste within the administrative area of Wuhu City. Among them, the anaerobic system adopts Purac's ANAMET wet medium-temperature continuous anaerobic digestion process, and one anaerobic tank is set up with an effective volume of about 8,000 m3.
The raw materials of this project are kitchen waste. The pretreatment process does not extract oil, and the system does not add external dilution water. Therefore, higher requirements are put forward for the oil resistance and stability of the anaerobic system. With decades of rich experience accumulated in the field of organic waste treatment in Europe and China, advanced and reliable technology and many successful cases, Purac provides customers with a safe, stable, environmentally friendly solution with low comprehensive construction and operation costs, and finally wins the recognition of customers.
The implementation of the project will promote the smooth progress of Wuhu's waste classification policy and the harmless and resource-based treatment of kitchen waste. It is also another new project after Purac signed contracts for kitchen waste projects such as Wuxi, Shanghai Jiading, Nanjing Lishui, Luoqi, Xiong'an, Shanghai Baoshan, and Suzhou Phase II.
