Anaerobic Project for Restaurant Waste in Foshan
Project Overview:
Raw materials and capacity: 300 t/d of restaurant waste
Biogas production: 24,000 m3/d
Biogas usage: Biogas power generation
Purac scope: Anaerobic system
Start-up:2014
This project is located in Nanhai Solid Waste Treatment Environmental Protection Industrial Park, Shishan Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. The main service objects are kitchen waste generated by restaurants, hotels, canteens of enterprises and institutions, and school canteens in Nanhai District. The treatment scale is 300 t/d. The treatment process mainly consists of "pretreatment + anaerobic digestion" to realize the reduction, harmlessness and recycling of kitchen waste. The project adopts Purac's ANAMET® medium-temperature anaerobic digestion technology. The biogas generated by anaerobic digestion is used to generate electricity through biogas power generation facilities. The solid substances generated during the treatment process are sent to the waste incineration power plant in the industrial park for co-combustion. The generated odor is collected and treated and then discharged up to standard. The biogas slurry is treated by the sewage treatment system in the industrial park and then reused. Purac is responsible for the process design, equipment supply and commissioning operation services of the anaerobic system of this project. The project was put into operation in 2014.
