Dry anaerobic technology from Purac for household waste treatment helping the construction of national resource recycling projects

December 24, Purac Environmental System (Beijing) Co., Ltd. signed the contract of Chongqing Luoqi Restaurant Waste Treatment Plant - Household Waste Dry Anaerobic Digestion Project Phase V, which is the fifth phase engineering for household waste treatment.

By adopting the world leading vertical thermophilic dry anaerobic process, Luoqi Organic Waste Treatment Plant has been built into a technologically advanced, environmentally friendly, and modern resource recycling base,

The project's annual capacity is 73,000 tons of pretreated household waste and with annual output of 5.84 million cubic meters biogas. This is the second project of Purac dry anaerobic technology to be implemented in China.

This project adopts DRANCO dry anaerobic process, which has been applied internationally for more than 35 years and has been verified by dozens of projects, and also optimized and upgraded for the composition and characteristics of domestic household waste. This system integrates material receiving, automatic metering feeding, rapid mixing, anaerobic digestion, and automatic discharge. The system operates fully automatically and can achieve unmanned operation.
