Pantai 320,000tons WWTP sludge anaerobic digestion project, Malaysia
Project profile:
Raw materials and capacity: sludge of 320,000 t/d WWTP
Purac Supply scope: anaerobic system
In 2012, PURAC Environmental System
(Beijing) Co., Ltd. signed the contract of Pantai 320,000 t/d WWTP
sludge anaerobic digestion project in Kuala Lumpur. As an established
supplier of sludge anaerobic digestion technology, as early as 1999,
Purac successfully built the sludge anaerobic digestion project of
Beijing Gaobeidian WWTP Phase II 500,000 t/d waste water treatment
engineering.
Anaerobic digestion for municipal sludge is a popular treatment
technology in foreign countries, especially in Europe, which can produce
renewable biogas with low energy consumption and achieve sludge
reduction treatment, is an advanced treatment technology for energy
saving and emission reduction. The project has been put into operation
in 2014.
