Purac signed the contract of Beijing Drainage Group Gaobeidian Sewage Treatment Plant sludge advanced anaerobic treatment project

Design capacity of this project is 1358 tons/day (based on a solid content of 20%) of mixed sludge. The process will adopt sludge concentration+sludge pretreatment+thermos hydrolysis+anaerobic digestion+pressure filtration dewatering process. Purac provides overall process design and system integration consulting services for the project, as well as core equipment supply for the subsystem sludge anaerobic digestion system, and technical services such as commissioning and trial operation.

The capacity of Gaobeidian sewage treatment plant is 1 million tons/day. This project adopts Thermal Hydrolysis Pre Treatment, which greatly increases the solid concentration of sludge feed in the digestion tank after pretreatment. The residence time of sludge in the anaerobic tank is greatly reduced, so that the existing digestion tank can process more sludge and increase the biogas production rate by 15% to 20%. The dewatering performance of digested sludge is also improved.
