In September 2023, Purac signed the contract of Beijing Fengtai District Circular Economy Industrial Park (for short Fengtai Park) restaurant food waste and household kitchen waste pretreatment project with Beijing Environmental Sanitation Group Fengtai Park Company, for the pretreatment of restaurant food waste and household kitchen waste. Fengtai Park is the only comprehensive waste treatment facility in Fengtai District, and is the Beijing Science Popularization and Education Base and the Beijing Social Classroom Resource Unit.

Purac supplied the pulping pretreatment system in this project, which can achieve a pulping capacity of 60 tons/hour, handle 400 tons/day restaurant food waste and 320 tons/day household kitchen waste in the condition of non-stop operation. This pretreatment system can also improve the resource recovery rate of sorted organic waste. Improve the gas production and oil recovery rate of the following anaerobic system, reduce the total amount of slag discharged, and significantly improve the overall operation efficiency of the system.

This is another representative pretreatment case from Purac besides of Chongqing Heishizi, Suzhou Industrial Park Restaurant Food Waste EPC, Beijing Nangong, and Beijing Dongcun.

Hydraulic pulping pretreatment process began to be applied to European organic waste treatment projects since the 80s of last century, in 2008 Purac introduced this process into China for Qingdao Jiaonan municipal waste treatment project, after years of upgrading and optimization, HP hydraulic pulping process can be widely used in the pretreatment of organic waste such as restaurant food waste, household kitchen waste, sewage sludge, etc.

Purac HP process has the characteristics of large capacity, strong system stability, low organic matter loss, high oil recovery rate, large slag dryness, etc., and the whole system is easy to deodorize in closed operation, and the small footprint saves the investment cost of civil engineering for the owner, and becomes the first choice for organic waste treatment projects.
