In 2020, Purac signed a contract with Everbright Environmental Protection (China) Co., Ltd. for the joint anaerobic project of organic waste in the first phase of the comprehensive waste treatment facility in Xiong'an New Area. This project adopts Purac's ANAMET high-temperature fully mixed anaerobic digestion system. After the completion of the first phase of the project, the treatment scale is 600 t/d, and a treatment scale of 600 t/d for the anaerobic system for comprehensive treatment of organic waste in the second phase is reserved.

This project is located in the southeast direction of Xiong'an New Area, on the south side of Mawutou Village, Longwan Town, Xiongxian County. It is the first comprehensive waste treatment project in Xiong'an New Area. It is jointly invested by China Xiong'an Group Ecological Construction Investment Co., Ltd. and China Everbright International Limited, and is designed as a whole by China ENFI Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. This project adopts a semi-underground hidden "de-industrialization" design. The above-ground part is mainly the management and education area, leisure and entertainment area, and landscape area. The underground part is mainly the production area. The entire waste treatment facility is hidden in the countryside, taking advantage of the situation to create landscapes, and realizing the harmonious coexistence of the industrial function of waste treatment in Xiong'an New Area and the surrounding environment. After the project is completed, it will provide guarantee for improving the ecological environment quality of Xiong'an New Area and lay a foundation for promoting the construction of a "zero-waste city" and waste classification work.

The anaerobic system will be built in a semi-underground room. Therefore, extremely high requirements are put forward for the safety, stability and deodorization of the anaerobic system. With decades of rich experience accumulated in the field of organic waste treatment in Europe and China, advanced and reliable technology and many successful cases, Purac provides customers with a safe, stable, environmentally friendly solution with low comprehensive construction and operation costs, and finally wins the recognition of customers.
